  Save The Children Sweden seeking a : Regional Programme Officer on Protection ; Sexual and gender Based Violence (SGBV) and HIV/AIDS. The assignment is a local posting, within the regional office for West Africa, in dakar and the period is one year starting as soon as possible, with a possible extension. Main area of responsibility : Under the strategic guidance of the Regional programme Advisor on Protection, be responsible for the implentation of the projects against SGBV and HIV/AIDS within Save the Children Sweden’s Regional pragramme in West Africa. Description of task/responsabilities : .To contribute to the strategic duration of the protection programme in the region. .To be responsible for yhe planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the projects on SGBV and HIV/AIDS. .To ensure good institutional learnig withing the projets SGBV and HIV/AIDS ; eg documentation of case studies, good praticess and lessons learned, the production and promotion of high quality reportys in French and English. . To be responsible for the control and reporting on the budget for SGBV and HIV/AIDS. . To actively contribute to the regional fundraising. .To ensure continuous situation analysis regarding the state of children’s rights within the protection and specifically within SGBV and HIV/AIDS. . Coordinate and network with other actors in the country and the region.
